The Session — €80
All sessions are done in the comfort of your own home in Paphos or Limassol. Each working session is €80 and will last anywhere between 1.5- 3 hours depending on the dog, owner and situation to ensure that we cover the basics to be able to start off the training as easily as possible. We want to make sure we know your specific needs and cover all fundamental aspects of everyday life in your home together with your canine. Our methods and techniques are tailor-made to suit each situation, dog and human. What we do during each working session varies from dog to dog and owner to owner.
We will train your dog but our main focus is on you as an owner. We’ll show and teach you all our secrets to a good and sustainable training method. Once we have established an understanding of what needs to be done, we’ll design a program together with you so that you can continue our work on your own. It’s the best and fastest way to ensure that your dog gets the best training when we’re not there to guide you.
Following the working session we will do quarterly 30-min follow up visits — €50 each, to make sure you are on the right track and evaluate the progress to see if you would need any more working sessions or not.

Puppy
Getting a puppy is exciting, new and fun but also at times a bit overwhelming. We are often asked when training should start. Right away is the answer, you want to form a correct behaviour as soon as possible to ensure a wonderfully behaved companion in the future. Good dog training is the key to a successful relationship with your dog.
You will have to deal with unexpected changes. No matter how cute and cuddly your puppy, it is still important they are introduced the right way and with correct discipline when first arriving to your home. Remember, a rebellious and reckless puppy will eventually grow up to be a just as out of control adult dog later on.
You can of course prevent this by establishing a clear set of rules with our help and knowledge. In this session we’ll cover all aspects of getting a puppy and answer any other questions you might have about your dog.
Learn about:
Puppy Behaviour • Feeding • Crating • Socialization • Controlled Walks • Playtime • Introductions • Toilet Training • Basic Commands • Biting
Basic Obedience
We all know that trying to control a dog who hasn’t grasped the concept of basic obedience commands is exhausting and often impossible. Dogs have, unless learned, short attention spans and it would be unfair if you expect your dog to give you their full attention for a long time in the beginning. Keep your sessions short and with little distraction.
Training basic obedience with your dog will give them the mental stimulation they need and will establish a better relationship and bond between you and your dog. “Dog Training Made Easy” is a simple but stable training method.
In this session we talk about our dog training and how to apply it into your everyday life. We’ll go through a few exercises with your dog first and once you feel ready, it’s your turn to give it a go. Learning by doing is the best and fastest way to grasp the concept of training dogs and before the session ends we want to make sure you can continue your training on your own.
We Will Teach You:
Ground Rules • Timing • Basic Commands • Hand Signals • Corrections • Proper Leash Use • How To Give Treats • Rewards
Behaviour
When entering your home, your dog becomes part of the pack that is your family and/or other pets and they look for leadership. If we don’t take on that role we find ourselves with problems such as an insecure/nervous dog, or one that completely runs the show at home. This of course depends largely on your dog’s personality and history.
A common behaviour amongst dog owners is that we adapt rather than correct. A normal reaction to shoe chewing is to remove the shoes off the floor, and before you know it you are sleeping on the sofa because your dog has seized your bed. It’s important to mark and correct any behaviour that is not acceptable from the start with our dog training techniques.
In this session we will spend time with your dog, assessing the behaviour problem to get a deeper understanding of the underlying issues they have. We will touch the subject of basic dog obedience training and together we’ll form a plan for you to follow.
We Can Help You With:
Biting • Nipping • Jumping • Pulling • Chewing • Fear/Anxiety • Barking/Whining • Possessive Behaviour Over Toys/Food/Owner
Advanced Training
Many seem to want instant results when it comes to advanced dog obedience but it takes a dedicated owner and many hours of practice and training to get your dog to that level beyond basic obedience. If you are that dedicated dog owner, PetSpot has the program for you! With the basic obedience in place we move on to develop your dog’s prey drive through luring and then use that as a stepping stone to advance your dog and the training you give them.
Advance Your Training With:
Engagement • Heel Walking • Prey Drive Development • Bite Work • Off Leash Training • Challenging Recall • In-Motion-Commands
